If you’re a fan of sea food, The Wright Brothers is the restaurant for you. Having initially started as an oyster bar in borough, today they have an extended menu covering a wider variety of sea food cuisines across their five sites in London.
I find the menu is pretty flexible when ordering with a group. You can a main to yourself or share a few small plates and experience a a variety of dishes.
The oysters come at a great price, especially if you dine during lunch time. I ordered three Jersey rock oysters, followed by sea bass carpaccio, truffled edamame salad, salmon sashimi and seared beef fillet tataki. Every bite was a mouth watering delight and if my bank account allowed it, i would have ordered everything again.
The fish is fresh and packed full of flavour. The beef tataki was a favourite and perfectly bite sized to tease your taste buds.
The Soho site partly rests in Kingly Court which offers a semi-isolated outdoor space away from the main hustle and bustle of Carnaby street, perfect for the summer if you want to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Otherwise the interior has a moody relaxed vibe for the romantic date scene or a chilled evening of drinks.
